Hi everyone! Well it's the end of summer and everyone is going back to school. Allen finally found a teaching job at Devinci Academy where he will teach math to grades 7-12. It's a charter school in Ogden, and we are just so happy about his new job. It will be a wonderful new journey for both of us.

Wonderful April 2008 Cruise

Great cruise, but everyone ( me included) on board was sea sick :0(
The cruise line was selling the last of the Dramamine for
$24 for 2 doses! Yikes. But we had a wonderful time. Next time
will be even better. Happy 25th Honey xoxoxo

It's now time for us both as a couple and as individuals

Well this is our first blog jot. We are currently newlyweds of almost 27 years and the proud parents of a son and daughter who are now both happily married with their own loves.
Hi I'm Jules, I'm an RN by trade have decided to go on r&r the last 9 years to finish raising our family and deal with a few health issues. But as I talk to friends who are RNs I haven't missed much and they haven't missed me.(hehe) The market is blessed with many many many people who love being an RN as much as I do. Someday I'd love to go back and teach. But time will tell.

Alley-the love of my life is trying to find a math teaching job here in Utah. Imagine--there is no shortage of math teachers wanting a job here. Each interview he goes on there are at least 15-30 other applicants who have math teaching degrees just like him, getting out of the field(computer) just like him, and who wants a job just like him. So here ye here ye !! Here in Northern Utah there should not be one single History teacher having to teach math-thereby causing your student to have sleepless nights because her math teacher insist she know the relativity of the year 1492 as it pertain to his now current occupation !! If such a child is made to suffer such non-sense, that teacher's principal should be given escort to each and every math teaching interview in the state.

Now for my favorite pass times or what I would love to call my favorite pass times if I could just quit finding blogs to read. I would love to create a fraction of the wonderful cards I see each and every day, rather than just collect the supplies needed to create such a wonder. I do have a million stamps but I hate to stamp because they never turn out as perfect as those that I see on other blogs. I'm a fond follower of Pretty Pressings, Seven Kids College Funds, Sarah Kay, and of course where ever the cute kids of Magnolias stamps end up being sold at. Oh and we just bought a vinyl cutter so that is a relativity new toy in the crafting world and I am having a blast with it.
I'd love to find someone who would love to trade edible printed frosting sheets, or die cut work in exchange for pre-stamped images.
That's my other passion. I create edible images on cookies, cakes, chocolate bars, lollipops, and even mashed potatoes! That's another story. We have been sought after by a few photographers to work exclusively with them, but instead Allen and I choose to give away alot of our services to our dear friends whose children are the same age as ours and everyone is getting married just like ours did. This last summer we did some 948 cookies/choco-pops-cakes for our kids' friends weddings, bridal showers, wedding bruches, and baby showers. It gives us nothing but utter joy to see their faces as well as the faces of many of their guest when they see this sweet couple immortalized on an edible goody.
Oh maybe someday we'll go into a business situation, but for now Sweet Greetings By Jules will just work for love.
Well now with Allen's passion being math, and mine being papercrafting, edible creations, die cutting and the occasional gardening, we feel that is quite the unusual mix of passions.
So tell us; what keeps your home fires burning once the kids have left home.
